Anglicanisms

As part of an Anglican church, Tamie and I have been fostered -- often grudgingly -- into a centuries-old collection of English traditions. I was recently reminded of the Englishness of Anglicanism when watching Keeping Mum. It's set in a tiny English parish where the vicar Walter Goodfellow (Rowan Atkinson) sets the tone for a good-natured chuckle about Anglican ways. We were struck by the cultural similarities we experienced despite being in Australia!
